Delaware Trial Handbook § 27:1. VERDICTS GENERALLY

After the judge has instructed the jury on the law and the jury has deliberated and come to a conclusion, the jury then renders the verdict. The verdict is the answer of the jury given to the court concerning the factual issues committed to it.1
