Delaware Trial Handbook § 4:12. ACCIDENT

The defense of accident may be raised to show that the defendant cannot be culpable of the offense charged because the defendant’s conduct was not a voluntary act,113 defined as “a bodily movement performed consciously … as a result of effort or determination.”114
