Prior Experience
Delaware Department of Justice (1981 - 1989) - Mr. Slanina headed criminal and civil trial teams, including the medicaid Fraud and Patient Abuse Unit, gaining extensive trial experience, including capital murder trials, and represented administrative agencies

Office of Disciplinary Counsel (1989 - 1993) - Mr. Slanina served as Chief Disciplinary Counsel, prosecuting lawyers for violations of legal ethics rules.

Publications
Since 1994, Mr. Slanina has authored “Ethically Speaking,” a monthly column discussing legal ethics issues, published in In re:, the magazine of the Delaware State Bar Association. Some of the columns are available on the web site of the Delaware State Bar Association.
